We have had several approaches from people wanting to know who the Labour candidate is for North Herefordshire.

We have three candidates, that I know of, and they are ALL local members. I say that I know of because there is a, very slight, possibility that someone else either local or not, might have applied without our knowledge – which would be perfectly within the rules but disappointing if they were to do that.

The first candidate originally applied in August. So, we are VERY frustrated but as recent news events have played out Central seem to be wanting to take no chances on “skeletons”.

Until we have the confirmation that I expect, that all three are “cleared”, we do not want to release their names. What WILL happen when we know is that we will release the names, hold a hustings and organise a members’ postal vote for our candidate.
